Asia Sutherland

Asia Sutherland is a proud native of Durham, North Carolina, with a passion for creating memorable experiences. She embarked on her academic journey at the illustrious Howard University, where she majored in communications and TV production, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in 2006.

Upon graduating, Asia set her sights on New York City, determined to make her mark in the world of TV production management. She embarked on her career with entry-level positions at renowned networks such as MTV/MTV2, Vh1, and BET, gaining valuable industry insights.

In 2008, Asia's commitment to public service led her to the Harlem Children's Zone, where she worked as a dedicated youth development advocate. Over time, her dedication and leadership skills propelled her into a management role as Program Director at Hip Hop 4 Life in 2012. In this capacity, she effectively led a team of educators and managed youth development programs and federal education grants in over thirty New York City public schools.

While Asia's journey had taken her through various professional avenues, her true passion lay in the events industry. In 2015, she decided to take a bold leap and transitioned into full-time entrepreneurship, specializing in project management and live event execution. Since then, Asia has orchestrated and managed an impressive array of events for esteemed clients, including David Stark Design, Like The River Salon, ESSENCE, the A3C Festival, Golden Voice Productions, C3 Presents, Idlewild Experiential, and many more.
